Hannover, 15 October 2023 – Linglong Tire equips the Volkswagen Polo with original equipment tires at the factory. Linglong Americas, a subsidiary of Shandong Linglong Tire Co. Ltd., has announced that the small car for the South American market is now rolling off the assembly line with the Linglong profile Green-Max HP300 in size 185/65 R15 88H.

The Polo is derived from the modern VW MQB platform and is a huge sales success in South America. Linglong and Volkswagen have been cooperating for many years and have now expanded their global partnership to South America, particularly the important Brazilian market, with the new original equipment contract for the VW Polo.

The Linglong Green-Max HP300 is a low-noise and rolling resistance-optimized high performance tire that was developed and optimized specifically for the VW Polo in accordance with Volkswagen's strict requirements for original equipment tires. The tire is characterized by excellent handling and braking properties as well as excellent aquaplaning properties combined with high mileage. The profile is available in other sizes from 14 to 17 inches at tire retailers across the world.
